I had a problem with my Toyota Rav4 factory installed alarm system. The main chip failed and I needed to return it to the LA dealer where I purchased it for it to be covered under warranty. San Diego dealers use a different alarm company for their dealership installations and would not cover the alarm under warranty. I needed to get this done quickly since the car alarm would activate without notice and it was possible that it would fail completely and not deactivate with the keypad (according to the LA dealership). It would take 4-6 hours for Toyota to replace it (per the warranty contract with Toyota). I asked Steve for another option and he said that he would take it to a car electronics shop across the street from him (Quintex) and get his opinion on my malfunctioning alarm system. I untimately had Quintex remove and replace the system since Toyota was not going to assist with the chip problem unless I brought it back to LA. Steve and Michelle were very understanding of my situation and presented the perfect solution to my problem with my Rav4. I will definitely go back to him for repairs and any other service related work vs. the dealership. Steve and Michelle are a great team!
