The ?indoor playroom? is, in reality, a narrow hallway overcrowded with dog crates, leading from the kennels to the backyard. None of the Palace?s employees have any certification in the animal industry, so their website?s claim to have ?trained, experienced staff? is a complete fallacy. On a daily basis, the Palace is overbooked far beyond its capacity, with dogs not only in the kennel rooms, but also boarded in the kitchen, in both bathrooms, lined up in crates in the main hallway, underneath the front desk, next to the front door, in the owner?s office, and even in a storage closet. Many of the dogs are kept in crates; the crates have blankets draped over the tops of them, so dogs being boarded in them are unable to see anything of their surroundings, on three out of four sides, even during the day.
