Review content:
We had a miniature poodle/mix. I had worked for a groomer as a teenager and knew the style and names of cuts. When I lived in Detroit, and when I first came to R.O. in 1989, I always asked for a Puppy Cut. I never got a puppy cut. I never told any of the groomers that I wasn't receiving what I wanted and just paid and went on my way. After trying several groomers in the Royal Oak area, I thought I would try a new business that had opened up on Woodward,(across the street from where Catherine's is now). I walked in with my poodle mix and said, "I would like a puppy cut." For the first time in five years, and as many groomers, the person I came to know as Catherine said, "This dog does not have a puppy cut." FINALLY, someone who knows what they are doing. \r
That was many years ago and that doggy has passed on. We now have three rescue dogs who visited Catherine's two-three times a year and we wouldn't trade her or any of her groomers for any thing in the world, they are our family.
