We have had maintenance on all three of our cars here for a few years and have always had good service. We recently had to have new brake calipers, rotors and pads installed on the rear wheels. When the car was picked up, the squealing from the wheels was extremely loud. Upon immediately returning to the shop, the mechanic identified the problem as pad retaining clips rubbing a rotor and made an adjustment. Upon driving the car out again, the other side was squealing loudly and upon immediate return, we found the shop had closed for the evening. We took the car home and back to the shop the next morning, but the new rotors were already grooved by the improperly installed pads. To their credit, they fully honored their warranty and immediately ordered and installed new rotors. The brakes seem to be working well now. A road test after the first install would have tipped off the mechanic to a problem and perhaps saved the first rotors and saved us some time.
