Review content:
Whittier Hospital Medical Center, while conveniently located between Whittier and La Habra, is not the hospital to choose, if given the choice. Amid previous and maybe ongoing financial problems, you would think this place would step up on the treatment of their patients in order to boost their reputation. However, the times I have had to go here...twice for having children, and spaced ten years apart, both yielded the same results...disappointment, frustration and the desire to just get the heck out! The nurses (the ones I dealt with) are nasty...very unfriendly and unprofessional. It doesn't seem as clean and safe as Presbyterian hospital (also in Whittier) does. As far as giving birth goes, it seems as though they are trying to bribe people to choose them...I was given a bassinet for delivering there. But given the chance, I would have definitely picked Presbyterian, where you get your own room and way nicer nurses!
