Review content:
This would probably be my pub of choice when going out in Boston. Thurs-Sat nights are obviously the most popular, and the place can get a bit crowded but it's usually a much cooler/laid back scene than most others (it's not a club but there is a small dance floor, so that's where the dbags might come out but whatever, they're everywhere). There's the typical floor space for dancing, kinda small and terrible when it gets over-crowded, but the music is my favorite part. Being a super Irish jig they have live bands (usually some decent/fun cover bands) who provide the classic rock, but then they throw in some mainstream pop/club hits for the ladies who enjoy their trashy tunes to get down to. Best of both worlds as I like to think! And as opposed to most of my friends, I'm still young enough to not get totally annoyed by the club scene, but when I want something a little more laid-back but still fun and dance encouraging I pick this place for sure.
Pros: a mix of live music and dj mixes
Cons: can get really crowded
