Review content:
I too am experiencing horrible pain in the middle of the night in either one eye or the other after undergoing PRK 15 months ago by Gary Tylock. I have to peel my eyes apart and it feels like I am taking the top layer of my eye with it sometimes. \r The only thing that seems to help some is drinking LOTS of water (at least 1/2 my body wt in ounces) daily. I have to wear an eye mask when the ceiling fan is on at night and use gel drops nightly. I do have 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other. \r Was it worth it? I do wish I would have shopped around for a more ethical Dr and had a more thorough exam. If I had been told I was at a higher risk for dry eyes (and I think they can see this with a thorough exam), I would not have done it. Pros: 20/20 and 20/15 after surgery Cons: professional negligence
