Review content:
This is my first time writing a review. Today I visited Marcus Associates for the first time. I had an appointment, and my insurance had cleared. This was the worst experience, and I have never been treated so inappropriately by a professional. I went for medication management with Linda Cahill. Upon meeting she was instantly curt, and rude. She insisted my insurance was not accepted and that I should go somewhere else. She asked me a few background questions, and then again recommended I go somewhere else. She told me to go to McClane hospital. I told her that I have no transportation and she told me to get a ride with friends or family. I told her I have no family in the area, and she said , ""well don't you have any friends?"" We spent the entire session debating my location of residence, and upon learning that I had no access to the orange line, she said, and I quote ""that i should move."" By this point I was disgusted. I was basically begging for help because I could go nowhere else, and she kept telling me in no so many words that she had no interest in helping me. I finally asked her if she would take my case, and she told me to go back to the place I was receiving help before. I then said, are you rejecting my case? And she said yes. I told her that what she was doing was highly unethical, and she said, and I quote ""I don't have to help anyone I don't want to."" \r After learning of my depression, cutting, and anxiety, this ""nurse"" refused to help me, and happily let me leave her office. This is absolutely not how you treat someone with sensitive issues, and i am appalled by her lack of concern. \r I plan to file formal complaints, as I already have with my insurance provider. What she did was unethical, and I am concerned that other people will fall victim to her behavior.\r If you have a choice do not see this woman. She is obviously in the wrong field and seeing her would only do you a great disservice
