This office has the most horrible policies involving sick visits. There were 4 separate occasions where I picked my son up from school, once he had a 102 fever, called the office to get him in to be seen and was told by the receptionist that there was no way that he could be seen. This happened 4 times. There is no policy that sick patients take priority. I find it funny that there are signs all over the office with strict RULES for parents and children like ""NO EATING"", NO CELL PHONE USE, ONE STICKER PER CHILD. but no policies about sick children getting proper care. I called once when I picked him up from school and just TOLD them that I was bringing him onto the office to be seen. They told me that there was not appointments and that the wait would be hours. I got to the office, the waiting room was EMPTY and my son was seen within a half an hour. It is appalling. On the plus side, the nurses are WONDERFUL, the nurse practitioner and physician assistant are great. They just need to work on the polices for accommodating sick patients. We are in the process of moving and I plan on doing a great deal of research before committing to another pediatrician. Pros: GREAT nurses & Nurse Practicioner Cons: Policies
