Review content:
I left my first and only appointment with this doctor crying. I was stunned and went home and crawled into bed. I use my insurance once a year (For my annual exam). My medical portion (Cigna) costs close to $3,000 a year. So I guess I feel like I just paid $3,000 to have a dr. give me 15 minutes of her time. When we were done with the fem. portion of the exam, I had to stop her from leaving the room quickly and I told her I had a few questions (I am soon to be married and we want to start a family.. my question was ""What next"") She said, ""Is it quick because I am in a hurry"". I was shocked.. I told her no it wasn't important, got dressed, walked out of the building, got in car and cried. Yeah it's important (I guess only to me), I am 36 years old getting married for the first time, planning a family and you can't give me the courtesy of 5 more minutes. I felt like cattle. I got home and later shared with my fiance. Feeling like a big baby and he shared that he didn't get to ask her any questions because she rushed out after 10 minutes. (He also had a first appointment with her that same day- we were looking for a FAMILY doctor). I got right into my appointment so I didn't think there was a line out the door to see her. It was a blow because I took a lot of time to find a doctor in a good location, that takes our insurance and that we both liked. My other doctor was way out of the way, doesn't take our flex cards but her compassion just earned her a loyal patient for life.
