We were involved at Power Kix for 4 ½ years, and paid between $13,000 and $15,000 for instruction and other related costs to Power Kix. All of our contracts were paid in full at the time we signed. If this seems like a lot of money, it is. \r \r As my son’s contract was coming to an end, we discussed the facts that his class size was growing, The staff seemed to be having difficulty covering the material, and he was becoming disinterested. Classes were becoming more like an assembly line and became impersonal. We decided to terminate our contracts based on the cancellation policy in the agreement. Leaving Power Kix was a difficult decision for us. \r \r We made an appointment to meet with the office manager and informed her of our decision. Since we had paid for 2 contracts in full, Power Kix owed us a refund of the remaining value of the contracts, less a 25% cancellation fee. Imagine our surprise when we received a check for only a portion of our refund. We responded back thr
