Review content:
I took my cat there this Sunday morning. He had not had a stool movement going on three days, was not eating (but was drinking water OK). I was concerned about a possible blockage as giving him three doses of lactulose did not produce a movement.
They took two XRays and determined he had old feces (which usually grows hard) rather far up into his system. They ended up giving him two enemas (just one didn't work, I guess) and the vet tried getting the rest manually, but it was too far up. So they gave him an antibiotic, shaved his backside, gave a spray to use for the irritated back end, and instructed me to continue giving lactulose at home.
PROS:
Doctor was very thorough and explained things well. He was both professional and friendly. I liked him very much. The staff was also very good.
Most of what they did seemed reasonable.
They told me costs up front of most everything they would do before doing so and got my consent
CONS:
Wasn't sure why they gave him sub-q when I was told
