Review content:
After previous clinics lied about their ability to treat hamsters, I was referred to this specialized clinic. They were very nice at first, and Dr. Nixon seemed to know what he was talking about. My hamster's pouch was infected and hanging out of her mouth. Dr. Nixon took her to the back and cleaned the wound and pushed it back into her mouth and all seemed well. He gave us some medicine to give her to reduce the infection and swelling and showed us how to administer the meds by giving her her first dose. The total bill was $125.00, which I was ok with paying because I felt she was treated great. After 15 minutes in the car ON the way home, my hamster died. We called the facility back and told Dr. Nixon about what had happened and his only response was, "I'm so sorry. Medicine is like surgery...there are not gurantees!" The place wouldn't even refund the $25.00 for the meds, which I never had teh chance to give her.
