Another thing... no matter how much training you got at school, every hospital will give you an orientation, and time of shadowing so you learn to perform tasks according to the hospitals protocol, and guidelines.\r
MedTech doesn't have all great teachers, and yes some read right out of the book. But so do teachers at other schools. Unfortunately, what makes lots of us mad is the fact that we pay so much, and wish we could be treated a little bit more like adults, and with a little more honor, after all, we the students, are bringing in the profits the school is making. It would be so nice to be heard when we approach the staff that claims the students are #1.\r
On the other hand, having such a high passing percentage of graduates speaks volumes. MedTech has many, many nurses out there licensed. Ready completely to work? Not sure, but licensed, and that's impressive, because to get a job in the first place, you gotta be lic
