I used to be a student at Medtech and saw this website and had to give the information about why I decided to quit. While starting Medtech I was told I would be able to get a job "anywhere" once I graduated. After calling around to hospitals not only in Indiana, but also out of state I was informed I would not be able to get a job at very many places at all. The only hospitals that would accept their students were extremely small, and Clarian hospitals head of nursing told me they would not be hiring Medtech grads until they were NLN accredited, and also until Medtech proved that they had quality graduates. She also told me that with so many accredited universities trying to get their students into their hospitals they were not likely to accept Medtech grads soon. Medtech is not NLN accredited.
