Review content:
We brought our 11-yr old bichon, Sally, to Sunshine Clinic because she had blood in her urine. The doctor performed tests & x-rays and found she had both bladder & kidney stones and needed surgery. She's 11-years old, we really couldn't afford surgery, plus there's was no guarantee the stones wouldn't come back. So we asked what other options we had. Dr. Kevin worked with us to set up a plan to prevent new stones and monitor Sally for bladder infections. The blood in her urine is gone and she's playful again even though she still has the stones. This is time with Sally we might not otherwise have had if Dr. Kevin hadn't worked with us.
