We called Schimka prior to them towing a commercial vehicle for us. The price over the phone sounded reasonable so we had them provide service. Once the bill came in, we found we were charged for service that they had not provided and extra time that resulted from them having to pull the tow truck off the road because they had hooked the equipment up immproperly to begin with.\r \r When I called and requested that they take a look at the charges because it had thought they were incorrerct, I was told by the manager that they had to bill out the work as it was turned in by the tow truck drivers, and there was no alterative.\r \r It is one thing to do provide poor workmanship, it is another to charge for extra work resulting from such poor workmanship, and it is unforgivable for rmanagement not to even review such concerns when broughyt to the managements attention from a customer.\r \r Apparently at Schimka, the fish does rot from the head down.
