Review content:
Dr. Aubrey Alfaro is thoughtful, professional, caring, compassionate, and sensible. I love her informal personal style, and during the two years our dog, Muna, was one of her patients, I came to appreciate her skill and willingness to learn more in order to better help her patient. When Muna developed an unusual tumor on his face and needed surgery, she didn't waste any time, and arranged for him to have the surgery done that day. She arranged to have a biopsy sent to a very high level lab for analysis just to identify what kind it was and to reassure all of us that it was benign. The scar is completely invisible, even though she had to repair it again after he tore it open.
Even though a vet hospital is often a place of stress and anxiety for a pet, when Dr. Alfaro walked into the room, Muna always relaxed and just seemed much happier. I cannot recommend Dr. Alfaro more highly -- she is really superb. I didn't have the same experience with her partner, Ken Stocks, though he seems competent, too, but I really highly recommend Dr. Alfaro.
