Review content:
Our dog swallowed a sleeping pill and we frantically took her to this place on the advice of an animal control officer in the city where I work. When we got the Gracie there, we were told to call Poison Control and after a $60 charge to do so, Poison control said there was no need to do anything for her, she would be fine. HOWEVER, they had already taken Gracie back in the back and while we were STILL on the phone with Poison control, they gave Gracie something to throw up and then gave her two injections, charging us over $200 PLUS the $60 we had to pay Poison control for the call. Why would they tell us we had to first call Poison Control to see if it was dangerous and then do all these procedures against the advice of the department they told us to call?!! We love Gracie and she is like our child. We would spare no expense to take care of her medically, however, Crossroads definitely took advantage of our anxious state and they will NOT get anymore referrals from this direction,
