I took my dog into Banfield because she was very ill she was lethargic and would not eat. Banfield was the only vet that could see her right away and since they seem to specialize in emergencies I thought it was a good choice, boy was I wrong. They had a junior person come and interview me about my dogs condition. They barely looked at her just asked me a bunch of questions. They went out and then a few minutes later came in with a list of tests which came to about $500. They asked me to select the tests I wanted her to have like a chinese menu athey did not give me much discussion as to what the tests would show or what they were for. I opted for an X-ray to start to see if we could get some clue from that as to what was wrong with my dog. The x-ray showed my dog had an enlarged spleen. They told me what would happen if the spleen burst but said to take her home and keep an eye on her. They gave me some pills to take home with me and did not even bother to tell me what they w
