I took my dog here and he was diagnosed with kennel cough. Took him back again after it didn't go away even after a shot. Again told it was kennel cough, no big deal.\r \r Well, I went to get a second opinion and turns out he had lung cancer. The "coughing" was him essentially suffocating from fluid building in his lungs. It was a very trying few weeks of treatment before we had to let him go. It is difficult to even write about here. Awful experience and I would never return to this vet because of that misdiagnosis. And to add insult to injury, they continued to send me reminders that my dog was overdue for appointments, after he had been put down and after I had left them a not-so-nice voice mail explaining that. Essentially monthly reminders that my dog was no longer with me. I would never recommend this place.\r \r Go to the Prospect or Wolcott vet. Great, compassionate and caring people who went out of their way to accommodate a sick dog that was not even their patient.
