Wendy is a fine lawyer and has handled my case professionally and ethically.
I can understand the negative ratings, but one should keep in mind that if you go to family court you've already have lost (stress, time & money at a minimum) no matter how competent your attorney.
In my case, Wendy helped me to get custody of my child, 5 years after an amicable divorce, when her mother started having mental health issues. Since then my daughter's mother has used every means to harass and libel anyone associated with the case including me, my daughter's school, aftercare staff, other family members (both her's and mine), and yes, even Wendy through rating sites like this and professional organizations.
In fact it got so bad, that Wendy helped me request (and I was granted) a domestic violence restraining order against her mother (aka ""Take Her Down"").
Despite being bombarded with harassment emails, false allegations, totally bizarre behavior from my former wife, and countless court hearings, Wendy has always remained professional and focused on the best interests of my kid.
Woe to you if you find yourself in family court, but if you do -- I would definitely recommend having a competent attorney like Wendy on your side.
