When it comes to garage doors I knew what I wanted. I wanted a low maintenance steel door, clad both sides, with coach house door details like straps and custom handles. I priced doors at the big box stores and an independent installer and found the price to be much higher. The hardware was 100 higher in price at one particular dealer. I found them to be knowledgeable, have a decent selection, ready to speak directly and by e-mail, low pressure and really pretty easy to deal with. Installing a garage door is not that hard but it does take time and is labor intensive but for the 800 dollars I saved on the two doors I bought I can do some labor. One small criticism my doors came with some hardware I bought separately, I'm sure they would have taken it back if asked, but too much trouble to ship back for the money I spent, I will use it on the shed to dress it up. I wish they had known that and stopped the additional order of hardware. Other than that, perfect deal.
