Review content:
Wayne County Hospital has been totally renovated and has been improved considerably! Fortunately I haven't had to visit it very often but once on a trip down there, my son had something terrible happen to his eye and we couldn't figure it out. It had swollen up quite a bit and was red and inflammed. We took him to the ER (he was only six years old). They were quick to see him but couldln't really figure out what was wrong. They concluded he had hit himself with a porch swing he was playing on and wanted to "observe" him. But we have a friend that is an optometrist back home so we asked to be discharged to go. They really didn't know what else to do and we didn't want to just sit there and do nothing in case there was something wrong with him. Once we got back home, we did found out that he had rubbed pollen in that eye and is terribly allergic.
PROS: New facility
CONS: Same ER woes as anywhere else
