I took my neighbor's dog to the vet clinic after being hit by two cars. The owner was at college and ok me to take her there. I arrived and was told that they could not see the injured dog unless I assumed financial responsibility. I called the neighbor and informed her the situation of treating her dog. I asked her if she wanted me to assume financial responsibility. She said yes. I told the vet technician that I would take responsibility of the bill until my neighbor arrived. Another lady started the paperwork. As she was getting the paperwork slowly and this dog was dying, the other lady kept going on and on about how she hope I understand that it is my responsibility if I fill out the paperwork and I told her over 10 times I understand all in all still not giving me the paperwork and this dog was dying hardly breathing.
