Deposit, forget about it!!! We were in the process of moving and decided to stay until the very last day of the month because we didn't want to forfeit the deposit. We cleaned the apartment, but had some stains on the carpet. Everything else was fine, normal wear and tear. They took $450 out of $500 because they felt like it. They listed items like 6 gallons of paint, installing new tiles because they're renovating. Normal things at I shouldn't pay for. On top of that we got the check in 6 weeks(ca state law says that they're suppose to give the check within 3 weeks). They had some excuse that we gave the wrong address. uh huh. This place sucks and I would discourage anybody thinking about renting. In the beginning, the apartment rate was fair, but after a year they started to raise it by $200. Be aware of their tricks, the ladies in the office are unpleasant and rude. They act like they can't get off their chair to answer a few little questions. One bit of advice, documents all intera
