Review content:
From reading the other reviews, I will say that I believe this is a good place for dogs. My experience with my pet rats is another story unfortunately. \r
First, we only went here because our usual vet was not in, and we were afraid to wait for antibiotics. It would have been nice if this Plainfield location had done me the kindness of admitting that they do not have anyone on staff qualified in exotics! Instead, they had us meet a student in training who had never touched a live rat before, then a doctor who finally had to be told that the rats had a respiratory illness, and how they should be treated. They ended up prescribing the antibiotics, but they also filled a prescription for eye drops that we did not need - they did not ask us if we wanted it, then insisted that we pay for it, since they had put it in a smaller container. The last straw? They charged us $150 MORE for the appointment and medicine than our Romeoville Animal Clinic does. \r
