Review content:
I am a past student oh Hametown Christian Academy and know the facility and staff quite well. I must be blunt here. This is not a school, it is a proto-cult with a thin veneer of education. Students do not learn very much here at all beyond rote memorization and a particularly odd and aggresive interpretation of christian dogma that would make Calvin blush.\r \r HCA uses the A.C.E Curriculum, which is by and large not accredited and very few colleges will recognize their diploma. They have no teachers on staff, only volunteer "supervisors" and various ranking members of their church. The students work exclusively from workbooks and must muddle through anything they don't understand on their own. Each student is assigned his own mini cubicle and does not actively interact with any students or teachers during his work day, he has only brief interactions during scheduled recesses. There are no lectures, note taking, or group activities. It is entirely composed of workbooks. This has a habit
