Our PennyWise drug store in Caldwell ID legally dispenses codeine cough syrup in small doses without a script. Yesterday, 12/20, my wife went by herself to Pennywise to buy some for her daughter who has had a miserable cough ever since fall. The pharmacy clerk, who rang up the sale, for some strange reason neglected to put the cough syrup in the single bag from downstairs which contained other items, even though she told the clerk to put everything in the same bag. When my wife came home with the bag she discovered that the cough syrup was not in the bag. She then stated that the clerk did not put the cough syrup in the bag. After searching the car thoroughly, under and over the seats and in between, and my wife searched her pockets, I went back to the store to get the cough syrup or at least speak with the manager about it.
