Make sure you bring along at least $4.99 because that's what they charge for cleaning the room after an exam...LOLOLOL! That right there should tell what they're most interested in. \r \r Unfortunately, it seems that all of the vet specialists are owned by corporations, at least in Illinois. So, when your pet is critically ill and needs a specialist, the corporations have us animal lovers right where they want us. So, if you're unfortunate enough to end up here even though you feel desperate and upset by what's going on with your pet, please try to pay attention to all the tests they want to run and ask exactly why they want to run them.\r \r I took my dog here and was offered a glimmer of hope. But, within 24 hours, I was advised to put her down. From when I walked in the doors to see the specialist until we put her down, she had an exam, an ultrasound, some blood tests and an overnight stay in ICU. Total bill: $2100.00.
