I haven't taken my dog to VCA for regular treatment, but I have been there in an emergency and let me just say, "FANTASTIC!" We had been there on a few weekends for various things and were annoyed that it was literally $100 just to see a doctor in an emergency. But when my dog got a solid red rubber ball stuck in his throat early on a Sunday morning, these people SAVED HIS LIFE. His tongue and gums were turning blue by the time we got there. They did everything they could not to cut him open for surgery and just as they went in for a tracheotomy, a vet tech was able to dislodge the ball. They stabilized him and told me that they had to sew him up a bit since the throat cut had already been made and that they wanted to keep him overnight because there was a lot of stress on his heart and body. They also needed to rehydrate him. They asked for a deposit for the processes and the overnight stay. I shelled out the $900 and expected to pay another $900 when I went back the next day to pick
