My mom has been going to the Beau for years, but since it had been 5 years since her last visit,I thought it would be fun for us to go again. She has always bragged on the hotel and the staff, but not this time. We were told we would have a room with 2 queen beds, but the room they gave us had 2 full sized beds. When she called to ask if we could be moved, we were told it was first come first serve - though we checked in at 4. The food was OK for the price. The cafe beside the buffet was not good at all. But the buffet had a pretty good breakfast. We loved the icecream shop and my daughter had a blast in the arcade. My mom stated the hotel looked grungy and that there was alot of rif-raf roaming the halls making her feel unsafe. For the most part, it was a nice trip, until we had the valet service bring our car around. The young man who brought our around sent it all the way down the hill and parked it by the street and he didn't offer to take our bags to the car. He was very ru
