My senior cat had been diagnosed with lymphosarcoma, and not responding to treatment, had become quite ill in the final stages of the disease. I had made an appointment for euthanasia at my regular vet, but my cat was going downhill fast and couldn't wait for the appointment. We took him to ACCES on a Friday evening. \r

The vet tech showed us to a room and explained that she would take my cat away to put a catheter in. (They administer the sedative and anesthesia that way instead of by straight injection.) She explained that she would then bring my cat back to be with us and have the sedative and anesthesia administered in our presence. We wanted to be with him and comfort him during the act.\r

I asked, but she would not allow us to accompany my cat while the catheter was put in.\r

The tech took my cat, and we were left waiting for nearly 30 minutes. When she finally returned, my cat had a catheter in his leg, and also had a three-inch chunk of fur and top-layer skin completely sec
