In my 30+ years as a pet owner, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a vet. I took my dog for emergency care and after 3 days of hospitalization and numerous intrusive diagnostic tests costing thousands of dollars, these vets had no idea what was wrong with my dog, wanted to do exploratory surgery and eventually gave me a completely wrong diagnosis. They were inexperienced, rude, dismissive of my suggestions and combative in response to my questions -- they told me nothing except that they needed to do more expensive tests. I had to beg them in tears to be nice to me because my dog was dying. As soon as I could (it was after-hours on the weekend), I took my dog to a wonderful vet -- Dr. Richard Martin of Brentwood Pet Clinic who, in 10 minutes, diagnosed what Beverly Oaks couldn't diagnose after 3 days -- it was a problem with my dog's heart and Dr. Martin referred me to an amazing cardiologist, Dr. Sarah Zimmerman of Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Lawndale, who could
