My five year old sheltie went to this vet because he was throwing up. turned out he had pancreatitis. They told us he would be OK he just needed to stay in their hospital for a couple of days. He did not make it. He passed away alone in that hospital without any of his loved ones there. We never got to say goodbye. When we spoke to the vet over the phone he kept referring to our beloved dog as a female. Our dog was a male. In this horrific time for our entire family the doctors and nurses treated his tragedy as nothing more than routine business. They refused to release his body for an autopsy until the many thousands of dollars in bills were paid. This happened 10 years ago and is still one of the most horrible events in my entire families lives.
