Our family has been going to Vienna Animal Hospital for about 20 years. Our First Bichon lived for about 16 and a half years. When it came time for him to be put down we took him to Dr. Chavitz. I have never in my experience met a more sympathetic or empathetic doctor. He made what could have been a very traumatic experience one that we could take comfort in.
About 3 years later we rescued a Bichon from Bichon Rescue in MD and we take "Chip" to Dr. Chavitz. He gets to know his patients and their families. He is one special vet.
I just got off the phone with him. We are visiting in NY and I needed a dosage for the car sickness medicine we use for "Chip". He called back in about 15 minutes. Thank you Dr. Chavitz.
