Review content:
My children have been going to The Galloway School for 4 years and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. The teachers are AWESOME and provide a great learning enviroment. Do they ask for donations throughout the year, yes, but this is standard with any private school. Parents need to remember that private schools do not receive federal funding. Having said that, I have never had a problem with not donating or contributing to something for one reason or another. It has never been a requirement and I have NEVER been told that a donation of a certain value is required, as stated by a previous reviewer. Yes, this school is challenging, but that is why we chose it. TGS does not hid the fact that it works on an advanced level. If your child cannot keep up w/ the pace of everyone else or is stressed with the demands, then this school is not right for you. Part of the problem with public school is they go at the pace of the slowest person; TGS does not do this.
