A manager at Cavalier Ford Portsmouth made an offer on my trade on Sunday only to have the salesperson try to rescind it on Monday. They promised me state inspections and oil changes for free only to tell me right before we closed the deal that as a program customer, I am not eligible. They said it was the first day of the promotion and they did not realize that. The finance guy wasted my time and was unprofessional. He would not stop trying to get me to purchase one of their so called protection plans saying it would only bump my payment 3-5 dollars per month. He never would disclose the actual cost. He never showed me anything that looked official in writing. He just kept scribbling figures down on a blank piece of paper. When I finally convinced him that I was not interested in it we closed the deal with payments around 30 dollars below what he was trying to sell me. I bought from them once. I love my new car, but unless their new dealership brings personnel changes, never
