My 11 y.o. son and I just returned from NYC and spent 3 nights at The Pod. What a cool place, especially if you're bringing a tween or teen on the trip. He loved everything about it and so did I . The staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean and modern throughout. I get "creeped out" very easily at hotels. Creep factor here was 0! We did a bunk room with shared bath. We were on the end of the hall and we heard NOTHING from any other rooms or the hallway. I slept very well, and I never sleep well at hotels. I'm not sure how they kept the shared baths so clean but each time we used them, the trash cans were empty, and things were cleaner than my bathroom at home. The location was terrific...a beautiful street in Midtown with an inexpensive food shop, fast food, cool restaurants, an enclosed waterfall park, subway and all that midtown has to offer within blocks of you. My total cost for 3 nights was $349, really an unbelievable value for a very nice experience. I will absolu
