If an estimate does not meet with your expectations, then certainly you can take your pet for care at another facility. Why return to Pedley with estimates from other vets if Pedley's is too high? Would you not go to the cheaper one if that is the only criteria you have for determining the best course of action for you animal? Medical practices for humans are not perfect, nor are those for animals. I have developed a trust of this facility, including under new ownership, over the last 12 years.I have not seen one review than states objective criteria for evaluating the practice. It's unfortunate that whoever answered the phone was not compassionate to your loss. It is certainly something to discuss with the office manager if you feel the response was inappropriate. In the last two months, the staff has stayed after closing to complete the care required for our unscheduled visit. Last night the attending vet stayed two hours after closing to ensure continuity of care and determine a tr
