When I came to Dr. Dayan, the far left side of my mouth, top and bottom, had serious problems. Below a tooth on the lower jaw, there was a long-festering infection with the potential to go systemic. On the top, teeth were almost nothing but fillings; and those fillings were falling apart. He began by cleaning out the infection and doing a root canal. Miraculously, he did this with virtually no pain to me and without an anesthetic. Then, he installed a temporary crown that fit so well and worked so well that I was reluctant to replace it with the permanent crown. At his urging, I did allow him to do the replacement; and it was even better. There was very little discomfort from these procedures as well. Then, he prepared the teeth on the upper jaw for crowns. Perceptively following up on my experience of some temperature and pressure discomfort with the temporary crown on the upper tooth, Dr. Dayan discovered and treated an infection in that tooth. I doubt that a less talented dentist would have noticed this infection. Happily, his treatment worked so well that he was able to eliminate my discomfort for the duration of the temporary crown and then install the permanent crown without any complications. Again, all of this was done with practically no discomfort to me. This dentist is amazing and a delight.
