INCOMPETENT DDS!!! This Dentist seemed very nice - however, he recommended to my husband and I that we just leave our daughter s cavities alone, that the cavities were in baby teeth and those would just fall out. My husband and I asked about having her sedated to have the 4 cavities filled but he just brushed our inquiry off. After taking her to another pediatric dentist, we were informed that decay can spread from baby teeth to permanent teeth; that it is imperative that the decay be removed so the child s permanent teeth are not damaged. Needless to say, we had an unavoidable, HORRIFIC experience because the decay had spread even more and it was necessary for the dentist to remove the roots in both front teeth and my daughter now has 2 caps on her teeth - she needs 2 more - and must be sedated to undergo the 2nd procedure because she completely could not take the intensity of the procedure in a conscious state. Had Kidspace Dentistry taken our request seriously, this whole traumatizing event would not have been necessary to our daughter. Seriously outraged at the incompetence of this dentist . DO NOT take your child(ren) to Kidspace! If you re a regular person who actually has health & dental insurance, and a Flex Spending Account - this is NOT the place for you or your child. Whether we were out of network with Kidspace, I don t know, but they refused a service we requested and patronized us for even thinking it was necessary.
