Review content:
Buying a piano is like going on a journey to a foreign land. You start out with ideas and assumptions that are bound to change and become more informed. After an exhaustive (and painful) search through local piano dealers (some of which I never even visited due to overly aggressive sales pitches on the phone), I decided to broaden my search and discovered Cunningham Piano Company. What a great place! A personal tour of old Germantown, the piano factory and the freedom to play and compare an array of pianos in all price ranges. The clientele also made the trip worthwhile. I met other piano enthusiasts and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Rich and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It's hard to express the benefits of selecting an instrument with other musicians and music-lovers around you (rather than high-pressure salespersons). Rich gave me a very generous trade-in allowance, which I appreciated very much. The delivery crew was also courteous and professional (I don't know how they get these huge instruments through the door and up from the ground!). What more can I say? Buy your piano at Cunningham Piano. The moment I played my Mason and Hamlin BB, I knew it was the one, and I'm very happy to have found it there.
