Review content:
Just a chance communication with a retail pet store sent us to Paws & Claws. While we had wanted to believe in the vet center we had used before, my family just couldn't let our owners be catagorized as an economic interest first, a healthy pet last. \r
We can't recommend Paws and Claws ENOUGH. I'm a retail professional who can see the 'added value' scripts that businesses do. P & C were professional, used to their clients and their humans, and made it possible for our dear friend to cross the rainbow bridge and not have us declare bankrupcy. I am sorry if my monetary concern detracts from the obvious. The doctors and staff here combined knowledge, patience, respect, and action to help both us and our four-legged owners. \r
Other vets had given up or were callous of our needs. At P&C we felt advised of options before euthanasia and were NEVER forced into thinking our options were either expensive surgery or 'not carring enough' to find another care package. P & C brought up an injection that would provide antibacterial care for two weeks, rather than forcing pills down the throat.\r
As a reaction to the comment made earlier by another reviewer: I'm seeing telephonic and visual training with their staff. We were greeted at the door (while the whole front end was busy with a couple of rambunctious canines), brought to our own room immediately, and had a cushioned (knitted or crocheted) place to put our paws. Due to my human being curoius, she noted that there were cautions attached to the door between the treatment area and ours that said something like, ""Caution/quiet, euthenasia in progress'. Staff continued to be realistic and respectful even as my human was six bucks shy of the bill. That stuff worked out.\r
I'm sorry the gentleman with the pug who commented on the service didn't listen. I also hope he and his family chooses to learn about pug care before they have another pug. Good luck to you.\r
Go to this business and find out if it fits for your family. Thank you.
