Review content:
I have had several bad experiences with this bus company this year. Their dispatcher, Dave is rude and unhelpful when you call to complain. On the first day of school they left my friend's 7 year old off at the wrong bus stop in front of Rox High School completely unattended. That bus driver got fired, and nothing bad happened to the little girl, thanks god. The service has not gotten better since then. Unfortunately, we are stuck with them to get our kids to school. Twice in the last two weeks they have had a substitute bus driver on my route who did not pick up 5 children at our bus stop and gave no notice and no apology for it. The excuse I was given today by the dispatcher is that because one of the roads was closed, it is not the substitute bus driver's job to drive around the block to get to the stop (which is on a part of the road that is not closed). Apparently, its not the driver's responsibility to let anyone know that he skipped a bus stop either. Leahy (or at least their dispatcher) feels no responsibility for leaving a 6 year old, 3 seven year olds and a 9 year old standing at a bus stop for over an hour twice in 8 days. Nor for making parents late for work because the children had to be driven to school and 5 kids don't fit in one car. I would NEVER recommend Leahy to anyone.
