My husband and I stopped by the Old Pecan Street for lunch and mentioned to our server that we were getting married in Austin (we met in school but are from different states) and he suggested we try their (delicious!) cake. We fell in love with the upstairs reception space and ended up getting married there right over sixth street. The manager was more than accommodating as we had to plan the whole thing from California- she met all of our needs and showed all of our out-of-town family how amazing Austin really is... We can't wait to come back to Texas and visit!
Pros: In the center of downtown, close to our hotel, just showed up and had a wonderful night
Cons: Parking is first come, first serve- get vouchers!
