I just got done reporting them to the attorney general of Iowa and if I have to will take further legal action if they do not pay what they owe.\r \r Will said he would honor the warranty with another mechanic because we live 6 hrs away. I turned in my receipts which totaled over $800 because of all the work that had to be done. I have been told for a month now that the check is in the mail, but i'm guessing it aint ever coming. JJ told my father that the car would pass Missouri inspection which it did not. The mechanic said it wasn't safe to drive because the right inner tie rod was really really bad. That was the first bill. I had to shell out $200 before I could ever license it. Then the air conditioning did not work and that was another $400 and before any of that my father had to replace the alternator and battery so about another $200. \r \r I should not have had to go to the attorney general. If you decide you want to travel down the road of buying from affordable auto remember this:\r \r 1. drive it to another mechanic and have it looked over top to bottom\r 2. Test the air and heat as well as electrical like windows (yeah know the things you always forget to check)\r 3. get everything in writing! everything! \r 4. Whenever possible buy from someone else
