Review content:
I chose Coit to clean and seal my tile because of their what I thought to be "stellar" reputation. I knew they were much more expensive than their competitors, and I was willing to pay the extra amount believing I would receive quality service. The first technician arrived, told me he could restore the color of my grout to within 90 of it's oiriginal color. After he finished (which by the way, only took him 1.5 hours to clean and seal 700+ sq. ft. of tile). That's the first indication I had that the job was poor. The next was the realization that I now had at least 6 different colors of grout. When I pointed out severely dirty areas, he told me because of the age of the grout, that's the best he could do. The grout looked worse after the cleaning than before. I called Coit the next day and told them I was completely unhappy. They made arrangements to send another technician out a few days later. This person was much better than the first and after looking at my floor, told me he could do a much better job, which he did. The tile does look better, but the process used by both of the technicians, was not the process described on their website. Caution: don't bother paying for sealing of the grout--it's a joke. They put some type of solution on a cloth, and swish it around on top of the tile and declare the grout sealed. All in all, my experience was terrible and the job is o.k., however, I paid $743 for a job that would have cost less than half that amount had I chosen a different company. I will NEVER use Coit services again.
