I went to get a Star Smog 2 weeks ago, the owner/manager told me it would take 2-4 hours to do a smog.... After waiting 3 hour he (Asian Man) told me my vehicle didn't pass because it needed new plugs. wires and a valve cover gasket, -basically a tune-up, it was $440 but with a so call discount it was reduced to $312 if I have the work done there, again this should have sent up a red flag but I agreed... waited 3 more hours and he then called and and said he needed my car over the weekend. I explained that he had my vehicle since 10 am and it was now 5:20 PM and the car still did not pass smog. He then ask me to bring it back again a week later which I did and he said it takes 2-3 hours to diagnosis. After all this time spent they still could find out the problem which I told him the OBD code meter read P0446 which is a vacuum solenoid valve, he ignored me once again. Several customers I have notice were fussing about their vehicles but the Asian man always tried to separate the customers... The worst service i have ever experience!!!! I will NEVER go there again and I worn others to do your research before trusting them with your vehicle. By the the Asian man told I needed a tune up and my wires and plugs were bad, I just had replace the wires and plugs less than 45 days before.... RIP OFF ARTIST!!!!
