Review content:
My wife and I are new to Las Vegas. We bought a short sale home which needed a lot of work. I did not have the resources to ask for referrals, because we knew no one, so we had no choice but to search the area on our own. We needed flooring, new kitchen cabinets, countertops, etc. I did not know the best place to go for these items. Like most people, I started looking at Home Depot. I realized if I wanted the best product at the best price, I would have to go to a company specific to the job I wanted done. So I then went to a flooring company. I was a small business owner and I could see right away there was a lot of overhead in these “flooring companies.” A lot of overhead meant passing the expense to me. I then stumbled upon Heritage Distribution, which had everything we were looking for. We ultimately choose Heritage Distribution for a number of reasons like quality, customer service, price, which I will outline: 1. When I walked in to the showroom, it was simple. There was nothing fancy. No “saleseman”. Not a bank of people on the phone talking to potential clients. (low overhead) 2. They offered the products I needed, flooring, cabinets, countertops. 3. Their selection was excellent. 4. The customer service was excellent. They treated me like I was their only client. 5. Most importantly, it is a family owned and operated business. I was once a small business owner and I can tell you there is no “clocking in and clocking out.” Whenever I called, I was either talking to the father, the son, or one of the son-in-laws, and everyone knew who I was and the status of my order. No secretaries. 6. The son (Matt) who sold me the cabinets was the same person to come to my house to measure, and was the same guy to install. 7. I am in law enforcement and am skeptical of everyone. I grew to know and trust this family enough to not only leave them only in my house while I was away, but I gave Matt a key to enter while I was away. I have many guns, electronics, a wife, two twin girls. The work is complete and they still have my trust. 8. The quality of the work was impeccable. Matt did a great job. Matt does not do flooring, but the crew that came in to do the flooring was top drawer, grade A, excellent. No short cuts and they took pride in their work. 9. As I mentioned above, this was a short sale. During the buying process, the appraiser noticed there were no facets in the master bathroom, which it needed to have in order to close. My loan needed to close in 5 days. I called Heritage Distribution on a FRIDAY at 2 pm to tell them of my dilemma. I needed new facets, and I needed them fast. Matt came to my house the next day, Saturday. My real estate agent opened the house for him and Matt worked in July heat, no AC, to add faucets. This really meant the difference between being able to close on the house, and not closing. Matt went out of his way to help me out in a tight spot. During your search for your home remodel, at least stop by their shop so see how they compare to other companies you are considering. Thanks again guys, Rick and Lindsay.
